On Saturday night, we hosted the A&W Mixed Teams Gala. It was the usual chaos of herding swimmers into the right places and hoping they don't miss their cues.
Our teams were the Aireborough Aces & Aireborough Braves and despite all the best planning, we did have one or two minor hiccups on the night but I wanted to share with you the teams, how they placed and the medals that we owe your amazing swimmers as we forgot to do it at the end of the event.
Congratulations to all the swimmers for their hard work and determination. I will try to get these medals to a Monday or Thursday swim session in envelopes for the swimmers to collect after training. Apologies again for not getting them to the swimmers straight after the race. Go Aireborough!
